New Reading lounge in the small cashier's hall

A new reading lounge in the Otto Wagner Postsparkasse building is available for users of the library of the Austrian Archaeological Institute. The room is located in the Small Cashier's Hall and is accessible via the entrance at Dominikanerbastei 16, 1010 Vienna.

Together with the library holdings of the Institute of Iranian Studies, books from the OeAI library can be used in the reading lounge at the following times after prior registration by e-mail to oeai-bibliothek(at)oeaw.ac.at:

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 10 am to 4 pm
Tuesday 10 am to 7 pm
Friday 10 am to 1 pm

How to order books?

Using a BAS:IS user card via OeAW catalogue or by e-mail.

Orders must be placed by 2 pm the day before at the latest. Ordered books will then be made available in the library office, entrance Dominikanerbastei 16, diagonally opposite the Small Cashier's Hall.
