Prizes for outstanding posters at the annual conference »Archäometrie und Denkmalpflege 2025«

The annual conference »Archäometrie und Denkmalpflege 2025« took place in Dresden from 18 to 22 March 2025. The posters submitted were evaluated by an expert jury and awarded prizes. Our colleague Vasiliki Anevlavi's poster on »Geochemical and Isotopic Insights into Marble Sourcing for Temple E in Roman Corinth« received the second poster prize, while Thorsten Jakobitsch's poster was awarded first prize. It deals with »Vegetation and climate reconstruction at the Late Neolithic pile dwelling site Mooswinkel (Austria) by the joint approach of pollen studies and macroremain analysis«.
