On 6 June 2023, Barbara Horejs, scientific director of the Department of Prehistory & West Asia/Northeast Africa Archaeology at the OeAI, gave her inaugural lecture at the Institute of Prehistory and Historical Archaeology on the occasion of the conferment of the title honorary professor in the subject of prehistory by the rector of the University of Vienna. She spoke about »New Models and Open Questions on Neolithisation between West Asia and Southeast Europe«. Afterwards, the Institute invited to a buffet. Congratulations to Barbara Horejs!
