    ESA selects mission with contribution from Graz for its "Cosmic Vision" programme

    ESA's Science Programme Committe has selected the Solar Orbiter mission as the next project to be realized within the Cosmic Vision programme. IWF Graz will participate in two scientific instruments: a radio and plasma wave analyzer and a magnetometer. Launch is planned for 2017.     Das wissenschaftliche Programmkomitee der Europäischen Weltraumorganisation ESA hat die Raumsonde &quot;Solar Orbiter&quot; als nächstes zu realisierendes Projekt für das &quot;<a href="http://sci.esa.int/science-e/www/area/index.cfm?fareaid=100" external="1">Cosmic Vision</a>&quot;-Programm ausgewählt. Das IWF Graz wird an zwei Instrumenten beteiligt sein: einem Radio- und Plasmawelleninstrument und einem Magnetometer. Der Start ist für 2017 geplant.
