Volume 12.2020 of our open access journal Medieval Worlds is online.

– entitled Rethinking Scholastic Communities & Ideologies of Translation II. This year’s winter issue presents results from a workshop series on “Rethinking Scholastic Communities Across Medieval Eurasia”, organized between 2018 and 2019 within the framework of the Austrian Special Research Programme (SFB) “Visions of Community – Comparative Approaches to Ethnicity, Region and Empire in Christianity, Islam and Buddhism (400-1600 CE) (VISCOM)”. Pascale Hugon and Birgit Kellner supported this thematic cluster as Guest Editors. The second part of the thematic cluster “Ideologies of Translation” in this issue features a focus on “multilingual sermons”, guest edited by Jan Odstrčilík. Submissions for our upcoming issues are always welcome.
