The Marietta Blau Institute for Particle Physics (MB) is located in the Vienna first district at the Postsparkasse. Because of a precarious space situation some staff members are at the Nikolsdorfer Gasse (1050 Vienna) location. MBI also has a permanent presence at CERN.

The offices in the Postsparkasse are a short walk from U4 station Schwedenplatz or U3 station Stubentor.

You reach MBI outbuilding at the Nikolsdorfer Gasse with public transit from the U4 Station Karlsplatz by taking tram 62 (direction Lainz), 1 (direction Stefan-Fadinger-Platz) or with the regional train Badner Bahn (direction Baden). Exit at Laurenzgasse.

Reaching MBI Main building at the Postsparkasse from Airport/Train Station

From Vienna International Airport:
Take the City Airport Train to station Wien Mitte / Landstrasse. From there it takes you a 10 minutes walk to the institute.

From Vienna Central Train Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof):
Take the subway U1 to station Schwedenplatz (direction Leopoldau). Take the exit "Urania". From there it takes you a 4 minutes walk to the institute.
We are located at Wiesingerstraße 4. Go through the arch into the courtyard and keep left. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor. The signposts will lead you to us.

From the South (Bahnhof Meidling - Philadelphiabrücke):
Take the Suburban railway to the station Wien Mitte / Landstrasse. From there it takes you a 10 minutes walk to the institute.

From Vienna Western Train Station (Wien Westbahnhof):
Take the subway U3 to station Wien Mitte / Landstrasse (direction Simmering). From there it takes you a 10 minutes walk to the institute.
