The Institute of High Energy Physics is a regular organizer of conferences and workshops on forefront topics on particle physics and detector development.

Current conferences, workshops and meetings:
ALPS 2021 - an Alpine LHC Physics Summit, April 12 - 17, 2021, Hotel Das Alpenhaus Kaprun - CANCELLED
ISAPP-DM2021, July 7 - 16, 2021, ESI
Identification of Dark Matter (IDM) 2022, July 18 - 22, 2022, TU Wien
Interplay between Particle and Astroparticle physics (IPA) 2022, September 5 - 9, 2022, TU Wien
Vienna Conference on Instrumentation
Every three years the Institute of High Energy Physics is hosting the Vienna Conference on Instrumentation (VCI). The VCI was first introduced in 1978 (in its former name Vienna Wire Chamber Conference) and has been established as one of the main conference on detector developments. A close relationship exists with the two partner conferences, the International Conference On Instrumentation for Colliding Beam Physics in Novosibrisk, Russia (2008 Website: INSTR08) und the Pisa Meeting on Advanced Detectors in Elba, Italy (2012 Website: PM2012).
Our team would be delighted to welcome you to the next VCI in Vienna! The next conference will take place February 21 - 25, 2022. More information is given on the webpage of the VCI conference.
Alps - an Alpine LHC physics Summit
Since 2016 the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Austrian Academy of Sciences organize the Alpine LHC Physics Summit-Workshop in Obergurgl, Tyrol. The workshop will bring together particle theorists and experimentalists in the Austrian Alps to discuss recent results and developments in experimental and theoretical particle physics.
The next Alps will take place 2022.
You can find more information at the Alps Homepage.
