Socio-oeconomic studies (Socio-Economic Research on Fusion – SERF)

Together with EUROfusion collaborators from several laboratories, M. Biberacher et al. (Research Studios Salzburg) contribute to the development of future energy scenarios. The graph below shows the energy-mix up to the end of the 21^st century under certain assumptions: Harmony – a world of strong environmental responsibility; Paternalism – a world of mixed environmental responsibility; Fragmentation – a world of weak environmental responsibility (environmental responsibility above all in terms of stringency of CO₂ emission targets).
