Wichtige Aufgaben von Fusion@ÖAW sind die Beteiligung der österreichischen Fusion Research Unit an der EUROfusion Joint Programme Cofund Action sowie die Weitergabe von aktuellen  Informationen über den Bau der ITER Anlage.

Die ÖAW

Die Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften koordiniert im Auftrag des Bundesministeriums für Bildung, Wissenschaft und Forschung sämtliche österreichische Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprojekte zum Thema Kernfusionsforschung.
