Magdalena is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Vienna Institute of Demography in her FWF Elise Richter research project "Heterogeneity in Population Health and Mortality” (HeHeMo). She is also a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Philosophy and Scientific Methods at the JKU Linz in her research project “Normative Measurement Framework for Assessing the Impact of Socio-Ecological Transformation on Lifespan Inequity within Populations” (NORM_LIFE).

Magdalena is mostly interested in methodological questions related to the measurement of  inequalities in population health and mortality and, in particular,  in quantifying differences in these distributions beyond their mean values, but also based on explicit normative assumptions.
