CURRICULUM VITAE (short)

Born and school education in Vienna. Completed a master’s degree (Mag.) in Linguistics at the University of Vienna in 1998 with a focus on comparative Indo-European studies, Indo-Iranian and Celtic linguistics (supervisors: Jochem Schindler and Heiner Eichner). 1999: substitute assistant at the Department of Linguistics, University of Vienna. 2002–2009: scientific collaborator/assistant in various research projects at the University of Zurich (CH). 2006: Ph.D. (Dr. phil.) graduation from the University of Zurich (supervisor: George E. Dunkel). ERASMUS study grant at the University of Maynooth (IR), research grant for the University of Leiden (NL). Lecturer at the universities of Vienna, Salzburg and Zurich. 1999–2002 and 2012–2013 freelance cooperator at the Phonogrammarchiv of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. 2014–2016 and since February 2018 research assistant at the Phonogrammarchiv. Linguistic collaborator, co-editor and author in various projects of the Phonogrammarchiv’s CD edition The Complete Historical Collections 1899–1950, particularly recordings in Celtic languages (collection of Rudolf Trebitsch), recordings from India (collections of Felix Exner, Hilko Wiardo Schomerus), and recordings of Russian prisoners of war in World War I.
