CURRICULUM VITAE (short)

Musicologist and software developer.

Studies in Musicology at the University of Vienna.
Since 2006 extensive ethnomusicological fieldwork in Crete.
Since 2008 freelance cooperator at the Phonogrammarchiv.
2009–2013 pre-doctoral assistant at the Department of Musicology, University of Vienna.
Since 2009 musicology instructor, University of Vienna.
Software development, data bases and internet solutions for musicological institutions, projects and collections.

Main areas of research and teaching: the music of Crete and the Eastern Mediterranean, modal music and tone systems. Editor of Music on Crete, Traditions of a Mediterranean Island (with A. Holzapfel; Vienna Series in Ethnomusicology, 2017).

Since January, 2019 member of the cooperation project Korpus Österreichische Dialektaufnahmen im 20. Jahrhundert [“Corpus Austrian Dialect Recordings from the 20th Century”]
