The Gerlich lab is located at IMBA, the Institute of Molecular Biotechnology of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. IMBA is part of the Vienna BioCenter, a life science campus hosting seven basic research institutes and more than 40 biotech companies.

How to visit us

  • By plane: at the airport take the regional train S7, direction Laa/Thaya. Get off at St. Marx/Vienna BioCenter station (takes about 20 min; runs every 30 min).
  • By train: arrive either at the Hauptbahnhof or Westbahnhof railway station, then take the tram no. 18. Get off at St. Marx (takes about 10 or 25 min, respectively; runs every 7 min).
