ÖAW Commission for Interdisciplinary Ecological Studies

The Commission for Interdisciplinary Ecological Studies focusses on the research, documentation and use of biodiversity in Austria as well as long-term ecological research. The commission publishes summaries on biodiversity in Austria (e.g. catalogues and checklists), assesses the effects of land use on complex ecosystems and informs society and politics on complex ecological issues with priority given to current topics in the context of public events and publications.
