Theresa Weinöhrl joined the Vienna Institute of Demography in April 2026 as a predoctoral researcher. At VID, she is part of the research group Family and Labour Market and contributes to the ERC-funded project “FLIN - Families and inequality in a flexible world of work”, led by Caroline Berghammer. Within this framework, her research examines flexible working arrangements, with particular attention to their interrelations with cultural and institutional contexts and public policies, and how these are associated with patterns of social and gender inequality in a European comparative perspective.

She holds an M.A. in Sociology from the University of Vienna. During her studies, she gained research experience at institutions including the Institute for Advanced Studies and the University of Applied Sciences in Vienna.
