Biographical sketch

Isabel joined the Vienna Institute of Demography in June 2024 as part of the Economic Demography Group. She is currently involved in the project 'Ageing Workers in the Austrian Labour Market - Linked Employer-Employee Data Analysis (LEDA)', where the main data source is the register data from the Austrian Micro Data Center (AMDC). In her role as pre-doc, she is currently enrolled in the doctoral programme at the Institute of Statistics and Mathematical Methods in Economics at the TU Wien. Prior to joining the VID, she completed her Master of Science (MSc) in Economics at the University of Vienna, where she served as a teaching assistant for two years. Her research interests span statistical programming, machine learning, distributional and inter-generational inequality, household and firm heterogeneity, and labour market dynamics.
