Abstract:

The title brings to mind Historical Puzzles & Games—ancient and classical games being used to explore early mathematical discoveries; Combinatorial Games—discrete mathematics solving a certain class of games; Game Theory—modeling rational behaviors; and Pedagogical Games—the magic of play embedded in a didactic context. The relation between math and games is rich and varied.

We'll address some of its complexity.
