Julius Brennecke receives the "Premio Leonardo da Vinci"

The Rotary Club "Wien Ring" in cooperation with nine other European Clubs awards the prize to IMBA’s youngest group leaders.

Being one of Austria’s most promising researchers, Julius Brennecke received the award, which was named after Italien’s famous scientist, in the Great Ceremonial Hall of the University of Vienna. Leonardo da Vinci significantly represents mankind’s cultural and scientific grandeur, which is honored by the prize. Every year, the 11.000 Euro prize is given to a talented young scientist by the ten participating clubs in one of their home cities. This year, the Premio-weekend was organized in Vienna for the fifth time.
