Research Projects
Investigating metabolic regulators of embryonic development
Research interests
I am interested in how cells integrate signalling, mechanics, and metabolism to build functional tissues during development. My research experience spans kinase regulation in cell division, epithelial mechanics in morphogenesis, and sarcomere organization in muscle development. At IMBA, I am now focusing on how metabolism influences cell behaviour and tissue mechanics during early development, with the goal of uncovering principles that ensure robust tissue formation.
