The Gregor Mendel Institute encourages applications from international candidates for postdoctoral fellowships and for PhD and Diploma studies, as well as from those seeking short-term intern and summer student positions. All currently open scientific, technical and administrative positions are listed below. The official language of the GMI is English.
Postdoctoral Fellows or Diploma students should contact the appropriate group leader directly. Note that the GMI is also a partner in the international postdoctoral fellowship program, Plant Fellows.
PhD students should apply through the Vienna Biocenter International PhD Program. Note that the GMI is also a partner in a number of externally funded doctoral programs.
