The Schubert Research Center of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna announces an online publication dedicated to new findings concerning Franz Schubert’s life, music, milieu, and reception. Articles of modest length will appear in either English or German.
The inspiration for this initiative is Schubert durch die Brille, a journal published between 1990 and 2003 by the Internationales Franz Schubert Institut in Vienna, edited by Ernst Hilmar. The new online peer-reviewed journal will be hosted by Schubert-digital.
We seek articles dealing with specialized topics that might not warrant a full-length paper or that are part of an ongoing project of larger scope. The contributions would stimulate further research on the topic and raise our knowledge of Schubert and his world.
Submissions should be sent to schubert(at)oeaw.ac.at.
The editorial guidelines with a stylesheet can be downloaded here: English, German.
