On 2 Juni, the ITA will celebrate a very special anniversary: 20 years of technology assessment in Austria, that means 20 years of research at the cross roads between the technological developments of our age, policy makers and European citizens.
Among the guests of honor will be Austrian President of Parliament Barbara Prammer, as well as german top-sociologist and founding director of the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies, Renate Mayntz. Together with guests from Austria, Germany and Switzerland we will reflect on our most crucial projects, and take a look at current developments.
The event is also part of the ITA's annual conference "NTA6-TA14", which takes place June 2-4. All conference materials and the events will be held in German.
