The Institute for Urban and Regional Research (Austrian Academy of Science) and the Institute of Social Anthropology (Comenius University), will organize two workshops successively in Vienna (November 13/14), then in Bratislava (May 22/23). The goals of these workshop are to present and discuss the scientific methods of Collaborative and Visual Ethnography – related to the topic of Housing Transformation, Heritage and Memory. The workshops include inputs from keynote speakers (Michel Tabet, November; Cécile Cuny, May, to be confirmed) and visits of urban sites in Bratislava (Petrzalka) and Vienna (Quellenstrasse Favoriten).
It is open to Phd and Ma students. The workshops are free of charge and the organisers will cover the lunches and accommodation (1 night per workshop).
