We're thrilled to announce the Call for Papers for the next JEARN Workshop, which will be held at the CEU on 14. And 15. January 2027.

This workshop will explore the theme of Reciprocity across Eurasia, and we invite papers from any and all perspectives and chronologies that feel that they have something to gain in exploring this theme. Please see the attached Call for Papers for more information on the conceptual aim of the Workshop.

The workshop welcomes contributions from antiquity to the present, with a primarily premodern focus anticipated. Graduate students and early-career researchers are particularly encouraged to participate.

Depending on the coherence of the papers and participants’ interest, a collective publication may be considered.
