The JEARN Steering Committee is very happy to announce the next JEARN Workshop, which will be take place on March 13–14, at the Austrian Academy of Sciences!
Organized by Calahan Morse and Dominik Haas, the workshop will address the challenges that we encounter when working with texts. We invite early-career researchers from all institutions of the Cluster to explore text-related research problems on the basis of their own materials – whether through a short passage of text, an image of an artifact, or a broader methodological or theoretical problem grounded in concrete sources.
If you have any questions, please contact Calahan Morse (calahan.morse(at)oeaw.ac.at) or Dominik Haas (dominik.haas(at)oeaw.ac.at). Please feel free to share this Call for Papers, including the link and QR code to the registration form, with any colleagues or students who might be interested. We particularly encourage students and colleagues who do not specialize in philology to submit papers and participate in the workshop.
Please refer to the PDF for more information on the workshop. We invite all current and prospective members of JEARN who are interested in attending, as both presenters and participants, to register at the following link to a Microsoft Form, where prospective abstracts should also be submitted (deadline: February 16):
