The European Cluster Assimilation Technology (ECLAT) project is funded by the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Union, within the call "Exploitation of Space Science and Exploration Data", to upgrade the European Space Agency's existing repository of Cluster data (the Cluster Active Archive, CAA) by providing several contextual ground-based (SuperDARN potential maps, ionospheric equivalent currents), space-based (Cluster plasma region identification and event lists, auroral imagery), and modelling (Cluster footprint mapping, GUMICS MHD simulations) data products. The data products provide context to existing Cluster observations, and enable effective usage of Cluster data by the wider scientific community. ECLAT is a collaboration between the University of Leicester, UK, the Institutet för rymdfysik, Sweden, St. Petersberg State University, Russia, the Finnish Meteorological Institute, Finland, and the Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften, Austria.
As part of the ECLAT project the Institut für Weltraumforschung der Österreichischen Akademie der Wissenschaften (IWF/OEAW) will provide contextual in-situ Cluster data products in the form of magnetotail plasma region identifications: data plasma regions and event lists

Please acknowledge the European Union Framework 7 Programme, the ECLAT project FP7 grant number 263325, and the ESA Cluster Science Archive in any publications based upon the use of these data.
