- Keynote Carol Gluck: Memory on the Move: The “Comfort Women” and their Afterlives

Carol Gluck is the George Sansom Professor of History Emerita at Columbia University. A historian of modern Japan, she also writes on global memories of the Second World War.

For the three simultanuos panels taking place on 26-28 June at the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the Vienna Wiesenthal Institute please make sure that you register and pick up the printed program first. On 26 June, the registration desk can be found in the ÖAW main building, Doktor-Ignaz-Seipel-Platz 2, on ground floor. On 27 and 28 June, the registration desk can be found in front of the Seminarraum 1, Bäckerstraße 13.

As there will be security checks at the VWI, please arrive early for the VWI panels and bring your ID to show at the entrance.
