The act of reproaching another is a common element of day-to-day life. Yet moral reproach also plays an important role in fundamental philosophical debates. This study examines the nature, appropriateness, and value of moral reproaches, and asks who is in the right position to raise moral objections. Finally, it looks at the relationship between moral reproaches and responsibility. Vorwürfe sind ein wichtiger Bestandteil unseres moralischen Alltags und spielen zentrale Rollen in grundlegenden philosophischen Diskussionen wie etwa um die Natur moralischer Verantwortung.In dieser Studie wird untersucht, was Vorwürfe sind, wer ein angemessenes Ziel von Vorwürfen ist, wer in der richtigen Position ist, Vorwürfe zu machen und ob wir aufhören sollten, einander unsere Vergehen vorzuwerfen. Abschließend wird eine Theorie über das Verhältnis von moralischer Verantwortung und Vorwürfen entwickelt und verteidigt.Moralische Vorwürfe ist die erste umfassende deutschsprachige Studie zu diesem Thema.
