Anna Rochowska is a theater educator and Director of TR Warszawa. A graduate of the Faculty of Theater Studies at the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw and the Postgraduate Cultural Management Studies at the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw, Rochowska is currently a PhD candidate at the Institute of Art, Polish Academy of Sciences (IS PAN), and a lecturer at the Faculty of Theater Studies at the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art. She is a member of the Program Council of the Culture Without Barriers Foundation, a laureate of the 2021 Halina Machulska Award, and a member of the Association of Theater Educators. Rochowska has been involved with TR Warszawa since 1996, working as a theater educator, accessibility leader, and coordinator of the TR Warszawa Education Team. Over the years, she has initiated and led numerous theater education projects for diverse audiences, including children, youth, students, adults, and seniors, as well as people with sensory disabilities, ensuring their full access to cultural experiences. She was recognized with a Special Distinction at the first WPEK Exchange (Warsaw Cultural Education Program) in 2009 for the "Education in TR" program. She also won third prize at the fifth WPEK Exchange in 2014 for the "Audio Description in TR" project (2013) and second prize at the 11th edition of the WNEK competition in 2020 for the interinstitutional cooperation project "KULTOUR." Rochowska also developed the "TR Without Barriers" program, which earned the theater the GRAND PRIX award in 2022 for creating an accessible cultural institution in Warsaw over the course of a decade. In the 2022/2023 season, she led the Theater Pedagogy Department at the Zbigniew Raszewski Theater Institute in Warsaw.
