The workshop highlights the strategic importance of quantum technologies for dual-use applications at the intersection of research, industry, security and defence. The focus is on current technological developments, European innovation and industrial perspectives, as well as the role of quantum technologies for Europe's technological sovereignty, resilience and capacity to act in the field of security policy strategic autonomy.

International experts from academia, industry and the security sector will discuss the opportunities, challenges and necessary framework conditions for translating scientific excellence into scalable applications and European value creation. The workshop will facilitate an interdisciplinary exchange between the research community, the public sector, security stakeholders and innovative companies.
