The Institute for Interdisciplinary Mountain Research (IGF) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW) became partner in the new funded project OPERANDUM (OPEn-air laboRAtories for Nature baseD solUtions to Manage environmental risks) by Horizon 2020. IGF investigates monitoring methods for landslide activity using close-range and remote sensing techniques such as topographic LiDAR and Copernicus Sentinel satellites.
