New publication: Montology Palimpsest

This collection of essays, edited by Fausto O. Sarmiento (University of Georgia) in the framework of the Commission on Mountain Studies of the International Geographical Union, gathers contributions by members of the mountain research community and introduces students and other interested groups into the diverse dimensions of geographical mountain research. It includes a chapter on Urbanization and the Verticality of Rural–Urban Linkages in Mountains by Steering Committee member Andreas Haller from the Austrian Academy of Sciences and Domenico Branca from the University of Sassari (Italy).
