This long-term project is a collaboration between anthropologists, artists and archaeologists from Asia and Europe. It investigates issues related to the Anthropocene and digging into sacred landscapes, encompassing archaeological excavation sites and places of raw material extraction. Another theme of this transdisciplinary project is the role of permanent settlements or cities in mobile pastoral societies in the past and present.
