The focus of this research project is to investigate the role and marginalization of Jewish members in the Austrian Camp Community Ravensbrück (Österreichische Lagergemeinschaft Ravensbrück, ÖLGR) and how the organization addressed antisemitism since it was founded by survivors of the women's concentration camp in 1947. In the first decades, the unifying narrative of the self-organization was political resistance against National Socialism.
This (self-)conception is placed in relation to political positions on feminism, the peace movement and Antisemitism.

The project examines the period from 1947 to the present day, addressing controversies surrounding contemporary forms of Antisemitism, remembrance culture, and antisemitism-critical educational work.
