Ljiljana Radonić, Zuzanna Dziuban, André Hertrich, Frauke Kempka, Markéta Bajgerová and Eric Sibomana will all present at the Memory Studies Association Conference 2021.
Eric Sibomana will speak about "Musealization of the 1994 Genocide in Rwanda – Exhibition of Human Remains".
Markéta Bajgerová will speak about "Forget National Humiliation? Transforming Memory Politics and WWII Museums in Contemporary China".
André Hertrich and Frauke Kempka will speak about "Depicting Soldiers and Sex-slaves in Japanese Memorial Museums: “Photography-Walls” at the Yûshûkan and the Women's Active Museum".
Zuzanna Dziuban will speak about "Curating Human Remains in Museums Devoted to Political Violence".
And Ljiljana Radonić will speak about "Globalization, Universalization and Individualization of Memory at the Museum", take part in the sub-plenary session "Critical Thinking on Memory and Human Rights" and be a discussant at the panel "Victims, Perpetrators and Implicated Subjects in Central and Eastern Europe".
