The Superti-Furga Lab just had a wonderful 2½-day retreat in Graz - full of science, inspiration, friendship, and a first real taste of our future.

We visited our new lab spaces at IMB/ZMB, University of Graz - with a wonderfully warm welcome by Sabrina Zimmermann, Kai-Uwe Fröhlich, Achim Lass and Frank Madeo. Thank you!

We spent inspiring time at the Medical University of Graz, with excellent discussions with Tobias Madl and team, and enjoyed a highly productive day at the beautiful Biomedical Engineering Building of the TU Graz -  including the now legendary roof top Mensa - gracefully hosted by Gernot Müller-Putz. Thank you!

A true highlight was visiting the construction site of the two future Cori Institute buildings. What a magical feeling to stand on the rooftop of a place where so much future research will happen (and has happened historically on paints/ varnish).

The Cori is coming to life - with gratitude to, and energy / support from our mother Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW), and our partners University of Graz, Medical University of Graz, Technical University of Graz.
