Conference fees

ASMOSIA XIII offers only full 5-day conference passes (19–23 September 2022) for active ASMOSIA Members.
Students are able to register at a discounted rate.
Accompanying persons who would like to attend the conference will have to register as regular participants.


Conference fee for regular participants and students includes

  • attendance at the conference sessions
  • coffee breaks at the conference
  • conference kit
  • book of abstracts
  • entrance fee Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien including Ephesos Museum
  • opening reception on 19 September 2022
  • Mayor’s reception at the Vienna City Hall on 20 September 2022
  • afternoon programme on 21 September 2022


Conference fee for accompanying persons includes

  • opening reception on 19 September 2022
  • Mayor’s reception at the Vienna City Hall on 20 September 2022
  • afternoon programme on 21 September 2022


Charged extra

  • conference dinner on 22 September 2022 (€ 50)
  • excursion to the legionary fortress Carnuntum on 24 September 2022 (€ 80)

Regular Participants

For each accepted paper (oral or poster), at least one author has to register in full and be present at the conference.

Posters sent by post or brought to the conference by other people will not be accepted.

All participants of the conference should be active members of ASMOSIA. The reduced ASMOSIA membership fee allowing you to participate in the conference is € 20 for the years that pass from one to another conference, in this case 2022–2025.

The fee is applicable to both, new members and renewing ones (updating from whenever). It can be paid either directly to the Association's bank account in advance or before check-in at the conference in Vienna.

If you want to become a new member, please fill in the membership form and transfer the fee to the ASMOSIA bank account. Submit the form together with a copy of the bank receipt via email to plapuent@unizar.es.

Verification document of student status needed. It has to be uploaded during online registration process.

Cancellation Fees

before 31 July 2022: € 20
after 31 July 2022: no refund
 

If the invoice is changed after payment or if the conference is cancelled, the following fees are due:
€ 20 for each change of invoice or rebooking
€ 50 in case of chargeback (claim of credit card payment with the credit card company)
€ 10 for cancellation of the conference due to the COVID 19 pandemic

Visa Information

If you need a visa for traveling to Austria, we can provide you with the invitation letter needed for obtaining the visa. Please address to asmosiaXIII@oeaw.ac.at

In case of participation in the ASMOSIA conference on site, you agree to comply with the COVID-19 rules of the organisers valid at that time.

 

Data Consent

By registration to the conference you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data by the Organising Committee of the 13th International Conference of the Association for the Study of Marbles and Other Stones in Antiquity (ASMOSIA) for the purpose of publishing information and programs about the conference (print or online) as well as issuing the book of abstracts. Data will not be stored for further use after the end of the conference.

Please note: Photographs and/or video will be taken at the conference. By taking part in this event you grant the event organisers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve ASMOSIA's aims. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications. If you do not wish to be photographed please write to asmosiaXIII@oeaw.ac.at.
