The one-week program combined science talks, lab visits, discussions rounds, cultural events, and lots of networking with fantastic scientists from various research disciplines, and people from all over the world.

This year, the Science Schools programs were extended with the topic: life sciences. We were happy to welcome 25 excellent high school students from 17 Ukrainian regions, who are the winners of national science competitions in chemistry and biology. 

The program was made possible thanks to Dmytro Rzhemovskyi, Project Manager at Mathematik macht Freude (MmF) at the University of Vienna, and Stanislav Dovgyi and Kateryna Terletska at the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Aithyra is a sponsor and offered teaching and training activities, like many other institutions, researchers and scientific support staff, that we would like to thank for their kind support.

The Ukrainian students' curiosity and enthusiasm have motivated our researchers to continue offering outreach and teaching activities in the future.
