10. Wiener Innovationskonferenz / 10th Vienna Innovation Conference 28-30 January 2025
31.01.2025
Anita Ender, Managing Director of CeMM and AITHYRA, participated in the 10th Vienna Conference for Innovation at the City Hall of Vienna https://innovationskonferenz-wien.at/. She was part of a podium discussion on “How technological strengths become innovations” with Karin Tausz (FFG), Rene Heinzl (BDS421), Monika Unterholzner (Wiener Stadtwerke) and Philip Walter (UniVie), moderated by Dejan Jovicevic (Brutkasten). Anita Ender made it clear that bridging the gap between academic research and industry must be successful: “You have to allow cooperation to take place on an equal footing - between industry and basic research. Freedom of research and entrepreneurial thinking can be combined. Innovation begins in academic laboratories, but it needs successful cooperation models and the support of young innovators.”
