Scientific Reappraisal of the History of the Education, Science and Research Ministry in the 20th and 21st Centuries

In Cooperation with the BMBWF

The aim of this project is to depict the activities of the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture, with its various core agendas, in the political-administrative systems and in the context of international developments. Our depiction sets out to identify the Ministry's structural developments in its different configurations throughout the period under study, and to analyse the most important measures within the framework of its activities (especially laws, etc.). Our goal is to show how the Ministry, as a state actor, shaped its fields of action (schools, science and research) in the context of politics, society and state institutions.
