CEECOM 2025: Journalism, Audiences, and Platform Power in the Age of Transformation
At the 15th Central And Eastern European Communication And Media Conference (CEECOM), held on 6–7 June 2025, the coastal city of Zadar, Croatia, hosted vital conversations on the future of journalism and media transformation.

Among the contributors was Marie Rathmann, representing the CMC. She presented the joint paper “Lessons learned? Opportunities of dialogic communication ethics in transforming media landscapes”, co-authored with colleagues from across Europe, including Tobias Eberwein (CMC), Laura Amigo, Romana Biljak Gerjevič, Sophie Duvekot, Kristina Juraitė, Marten Juurik, Epp Lauk, Krisztina Rozgonyi (CMC), Elina Tolonen, and Erik Uskiewicz.
We are grateful for the opportunity to engage in such meaningful discussions and contribute to the ongoing dialogue on ethics, trust, and responsibility in journalism and media.
