• Sumari: Can music tell stories? To what extent is music a narrative medium? Or is the storytelling of which we speak in reference to particular musical works and events a performance of something that is not itself part of the music - e.g. of a text, a dramatic contextualization, an image-quality or a reference, for example through a reference in the title? The contributions in this volume focus on these questions in interdisciplinary perspective, and in doing so, don't just make a contribution to musical aesthetics, but at the same time promote the dialog between philosophy and musicology.; Kann Musik erzählen? Inwieweit ist Musik ein narratives Medium? Oder ist ein solches Erzählen, wenn wir Derartiges über bestimmte musikalische Werke und Ereignisse sagen, eine Leistung von etwas, das selbst nicht Teil der Musik ist - z.B. eines Textes, einer dramatischen Kontextualisierung, einer Bildlichkeit oder einer Referenz, beispielsweise durch einen Verweis im Titel?Die Beiträge des Bandes widmen sich diesen Fragen in interdisziplinärer Perspektive und leisten damit nicht nur einen Beitrag zur Musikästhetik, sondern befördern zugleich den Dialog von Philosophie und Musikwissenschaft._______
