Izvleček:During the past forty-three years our Division of Zoology of the Royal Ontario Museum has been most active in collecting various species of animals throughout the Province of Ontario, with particular emphasis on the local fauna of the Toronto region. During this time a number of outstanding naturalists have not only made careful collections of animals, but have also recorded accurate observations on the species with which they were familiar. This publication, we most sincerely hope, will be the first of many similar contributions to the study of the distribution of the fauna of Ontario.
