Rudolf Virchow
Rudolf Ludwig Karl Virchow (ur. 13 października 1821 w Schivelbein, zm. 5 września 1902 w Berlinie) – niemiecki patolog, antropolog i higienista, jeden z założycieli „medycyny społecznej”, w latach 1849–1902 profesor uniwersytetów w Würzburgu i Berlinie, organizator życia naukowego.
