


The 4th AI Winter School of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW) and the Machine Learning Topical Platform MLA2S is held on January 20 – 24, 2025 in Vienna.
In this week-long event, we offer courses on aspects of Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models, Geometric Deep Learning, Neuro-Symbolic AI, as well as Data Handling, Curation, Processing, and Archiving. So far, Pia Sommerauer (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam), Benjamin Roth (University of Vienna), Emmanuel Sallinger (TU Vienna) and Michael Bronstein (AITHYRA and University of Oxford) have agreed to join our team of external lecturers, which is complemented by colleagues from several OeAW institutes kindly offering lectures, tutoring, or organizational assistance.
The school is expected to begin on Monday, January 20 in the early afternoon and conclude on Friday, January 24, with sessions from 9 a.m. (2 p.m. on Monday) to 6 p.m. each day, with appropriate coffee and lunch breaks.
