Quantum cryptography as part of Europe’s new independent satellite based communications infrastructure

“Quantum Technology Laboratories” is part of “Digital Europe" to improve European IT infrastructure

Until 2025 Europe is to receive its own satellite based communications infrastructure to safeguard its independence with fast internet, autonomous mobility and independent exchange of information between technical installations. Quantum cryptography has become a crucial part in it, says Rupert Ursin, co-founder of  Quantum Technology Laboratories, the Viennese Start-up  responsible for the quantum cryptography part.
