Mikhail Lemeshko

Mikhail Lemeshko is Full Professor at the Institute of Science and Technology, IST Austria. He is a theorist working at the interface of condensed matter, chemical, and atomic physics.

The main direction of his current research is understanding the physics of quantum impurities possessing orbital angular momentum. In addition, he is interested in out-of-equilibrium behavior of cold atoms and molecules and using engineered dissipation as a tool to create novel few- and many-body states of matter.
