Quantum heat engines
The project is focused on the quantum-mechanical counterparts of classical heat engines. The interest in quantum heat engines has rapidly increased over the last decade, as they are ideal setups for studying thermodynamics in the quantum domain. In particular, principal and experimentally-relevant operational aspects of fully-quantised heat engines are investigated.
