Quantum Science Austria

Armando Rastelli

Armando Rastelli is Professor of Semiconductor Physics and Head of the Semiconductor Physics Division at the Johannes Keppler University Linz. His group has been developing new methods to fabricate, study, and control semiconductor quantum dots as high-quality sources of quantum light. At present, the main research goal lies in the efficient and high-rate generation and characterization of entangled photonic states and their use for quantum communication and quantum optics experiments.
