THE LACATARI AND BOYASH LANGUAGES
Description: Anna Orsós gives an account of the beginnings of Gandhi High School, when she and other scholars were gathering materials in the two languages represented there, Romani and Boyash. In addition, in this process she explains how she found other Boyash speaking communities in Serbia with which she had not been familiar. She touches on the subjects of language status and the existence of written materials in these languages.

WHAT MY PEOPLE SPEAKS, I PUT DOWN IN WRITING
Description: Anna Orsós gives an insight into the beginning of the standardization process of the Arĝelean vernacular, talking about how she and her colleagues had to create an alphabet that covered the phonetic need of this variety. She then discusses the challenges of the phonemic orthography they established and about the school materials they have since been creating.
